Kristen "Kris" Salyards, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. In her private practice, Kris works with individuals navigating the demands of modern life while managing challenges such as burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, interpersonal conflict, and major life transitions.

Kris brings a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth presence to her work with children and teens, creating a safe space where they can be themselves, express what’s really going on, and feel truly heard. She understands that growing up today can be incredibly stressful—whether it’s pressure at school, friendship struggles, family dynamics, or simply figuring out who you are and where you fit in. With humor, empathy, and genuine curiosity, Kris helps young people gain confidence, manage emotions, and build healthy coping skills that last.

For adults, Kris offers a collaborative and confidential environment to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. Her trauma-informed, client-centered approach is rooted in respect and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for healing and growth. She meets clients exactly where they are, walking alongside them as they move toward greater clarity, balance, and resilience.

Whether you're a teen feeling overwhelmed, a parent concerned about your child, or an adult seeking meaningful change, Kris helps clients tap into their strengths and develop practical strategies to move forward with confidence and purpose.
