Hi! My name is Christine and I consider it a privilege to walk through life's struggles with you.

Are you overwhelmed? Do you feel stuck? Are you confused or frustrated in your relationships? Are you afraid that you can’t change? Is something in your life not working and you don't know why? If you feel depressed, anxious, stressed, or stranded, my mission is to help you.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with depression, self-esteem, life transitions, anxiety, stress, trauma, and relationship difficulties. In 10 years of mental health practice, I have worked with a wide variety of individuals and families who were suffering from intense stress, often working through past trauma, in search of change for themselves.

I was raised in the Midwest. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Hannibal-LaGrange College and I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I love traveling and I lived in Haiti and Canada for several years.

I am licensed to practice in Illinois and Missouri and use a variety of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), and Solution-Focused therapy. I have utilized many interventions to help clients tackle problems such as trauma, attachment issues, depression, and anxiety. Our individual sessions may include homework to increase practice with skills/strategies.

I use an empathic, goal-oriented, strengths-based, and practical approach to therapy with my clients. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is collaborative, genuine, and calm. My clients often tell me that I find creative ways to challenge them without being judgmental. My hope is for every client to be encouraged and empowered every time we meet.

Might we make a good team to tackle your problems and accomplish your new goals? Whether it's anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or a mixture of things, I would be honored to work with you!
